DDA Access Audit Work
Carried out while working at the firm of Scott Tallon Walker,
the client at a major London hospital trust required audit
investigation reports and costings to specific building and
departments in order to get recommendations and costs to
meet their obligations under the DDA. (now Equalities Act)
• Assessments covered all key areas affected by accessibilty
• Built actions focussed on toilets, reception desks and doors
• Reception desk solution based on a kit of parts
• Desk elements can be configured straight or "L" shaped
• Cost effective but robust laminate and PPC finishes
• Front panels allow digitally clad signs to be inserted
• Customised to give each department individual identity

Mark was involved on the project from planning to
completion of construction including developing a focussed
reporting method and design and costing matrix to allow the
client to prioritise and carry out the works in a phased
manner thus working towards fulfilling their obligations under
the act.
